The two-day visit brought together 41 students from different oil and gas engineering universities and provided an opportunity to experience, in-person, one of the world’s largest oilfields.

Staff members delivered educational and technical sessions that focused on:

• the basics of the formation of petroleum and oil processes
• well operations
• oil optimization processes
• an overview of the oil industry.

The Start Up initiative was founded in 2020. Through its programmes and courses, Start Up’s team hopes to boost young people’s chances of securing roles at multinational companies.
