The sessions provided essential knowledge on the principles of occupational hygiene, including how to identify, evaluate and manage workplace hazards.

The course equipped staff with the essential skills needed to better assess and mitigate workplace hazards. As a result, the safety training delivered by the participants to ROO staff and contractors is now of a higher standard and is supporting the drive to continuously improve safety training and practices at Rumaila.

The knowledge gained throughout the training ensures ROO remains aligned with international health standards, protecting staff and facilities through proactively reducing safety risks. The training has strengthened workforce expertise, creating a foundation for team members to pursue the full certification.
